In 2006 several national associations encompassing coaters of steel parts formed the QUALISTEELCOAT organisation. Their goal was to raise and standardise the quality level of painted steel throughout Europe. Companies in many European countries have directly or indirectly became licensees of QUALISTEELCOAT.
Back in the days
The organization aimed to create a comprehensive certification system ensuring that coating processes adhered to rigorous standards for quality, performance and durability. Through collaboration with coating applicators, suppliers and industrial associations, Qualisteelcoat developed detailed specifications for surface preparation, the pretreatment, application methods and testing protocols.
